Day trip questions.

Frequently asked
How far in advance should I book a day trip?

We recommend booking at least a week ahead in high season (June to August), as guides and vehicles fill up. In the shoulder months, three to five days is usually enough. Last-minute requests are sometimes possible, so it is always worth asking.

Can you pick me up from a cruise ship?

Yes. We pick up at all three capital cruise terminals (Tallinn Old City Harbour, Riga Passenger Terminal, Klaipėda Cruise Terminal) and at the Helsinki ferry port for the day-cruise option. We match your docking time and have you back before the gangway closes.

Are your day trips suitable for children?

Most trips work well for families. Trakai Castle, the Curonian Spit, and Lahemaa are all child-friendly. We provide booster seats on request and can adjust the pace for younger travellers. The Soomaa snowshoe trip has a minimum age of ten.

What happens if the weather is bad?

The Baltics have changeable weather, and all our trips run rain or shine. Guides carry umbrellas and adjust the route to include more indoor stops when needed. If a trip is genuinely unsafe to run (rare winter storms, for example), we offer a full reschedule or refund.

Can I combine two day trips in one day?

Some shorter trips can be paired if you have a full twelve-hour window, for example Trakai in the morning and Kernavė in the afternoon. Tell us what interests you and we will suggest what fits. Trying to squeeze two full-day trips into one usually means rushing both.
