What a private Baltic tour actually costs.

Honest 2026 numbers for Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia: what you pay, what is included, and the few things that move the price up or down.

The short answer

A private multi-day tour of the Baltics runs from about €480 per person for a shorter, larger-group trip to roughly €2,400 per person for a long itinerary with a small party and four-star hotels. Private day tours are €125 to €230 per person, and a private intercity transfer between capitals is €240 to €300. All prices are total, in euros, with no hidden surcharges.

What you are paying for

Private means just your own party. You get a dedicated English-speaking driver-guide, your own vehicle, and your own pace, not a seat on a coach shared with strangers.

The price covers the car with fuel, tolls and parking, the driver-guide, your hotels, the meals listed on the itinerary, and entries where stated. We write inclusions and exclusions on every tour so you can see exactly where the money goes.

Typical 2026 prices

Here is the range across our published tours and services. Your final figure depends on length, group size, season, and the hotels you choose.

What moves the price

Length: longer trips cost more in total, but the per-day rate usually eases a little the longer you travel.

Group size: the car and the guide are shared, so the per-person price falls as your party grows. The same private day costs more each for two people than for six.

Season: peak summer, June to August, sits at the top of the range. Late spring and September, the shoulder months, are quieter and a little cheaper.

Hotels and add-ons: four-star boutique stays, extra guiding days, palace entries, and special-interest experts all lift the figure. We can also trim any of them to hold a budget.

Deposits and payment

A €300 per person deposit confirms a multi-day tour, with the balance due before you arrive. Private day tours take a smaller deposit, with the balance on the day.

Everything is charged in euros by card. Changes are free within the window stated on your confirmation, and we are reasonable about flight and ferry disruptions.

Common questions
Is a private Baltic tour worth the cost over a group tour?
For most travellers, yes. You set the pace, choose the hotels, and never wait for a coach to fill. The per-person price is higher than a large escorted group, but you travel with only your own party and a guide who answers to you.
Are prices per person or per group?
Multi-day tours and day tours are priced per person. Transfers are priced per vehicle, total, so a family or small group shares one fixed fare.
What is not included?
Flights to the region, travel insurance, meals not listed, optional entries, and tips. We list inclusions and exclusions on every itinerary so there are no surprises.
Can you build a trip to a set budget?
Yes. Tell us your budget per person and your dates on the plan-a-trip form, and we shape the length, hotels, and pace to fit it.
Why is the per-person price lower for larger groups?
Because the car, fuel, and guide are shared. The same private day with two people costs more each than with six, since the fixed costs split further.
