Tallinn Airport is four kilometres from the old town. You can see the city from the runway. This is the easiest arrival in the region by a distance, and we would rather tell you that than sell you something you do not need.
Where a private transfer earns its place here is the specific case: a family with cases, a group of four or more, a January arrival onto icy pavements, a landing after midnight, or a first drive that continues past the city to Lahemaa or the port.

- How far is Tallinn Airport from the old town?
- About four kilometres, or ten minutes by car. It is one of the closest capital-city airports in Europe.
- Should I just take the tram instead?
- Often, yes. Tram number four runs from outside the terminal to the centre in about fifteen minutes for around two euro, roughly every ten to fifteen minutes until close to midnight. With hand luggage in daylight it is the sensible choice and we will say so.
- When is a private transfer actually worth it here?
- Landing after midnight when the tram has stopped, travelling as a group of three or more, arriving with heavy or awkward luggage, winter when the pavements are ice, or when your first drive continues past the city to the port or Lahemaa.
- Can you meet a late flight?
- Yes. We track the flight and wait, and the price does not change for a delay or a night arrival.
- Can you continue straight to the cruise port?
- Yes. The Old City Harbour is a few minutes from the airport and we can run airport to ship directly, which matters when you are joining a sailing the same day.
